Social Security Disability Advocate & Representative – Case Manager
Tina Ehrenkaufer began her career with Rue & Ziffra in 2001. During her time with Rue & Ziffra she has held various positions. Tina started out as a receptionist, and quickly transitioned to a Personal Injury Legal Assistant position. There she found her passion for assisting others, so she joined the firm’s Social Security Disability department. Starting as a Legal Assistant in the department, she was promoted to Case Manager, and now holds the title of Social Security Disability Advocate and Representative as well as Social Security Disability Case Manager. For the past 14 years Tina has worked under the direct supervision of Attorney Luis Gracia, the only attorney to be a Nationally Board Certified expert specializing in Social Security Law in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Tina has been trained in all aspects of the claims process including everything from the new client intake to representing clients at their Social Security hearings as a Disability Advocate and Representative. Tina oversees all of Rue & Ziffra’s Social Security Disability cases, while supervising two Legal Assistants and meeting with and talking to potential new clients. She also prepares case memorandums, and a great deal of her time is spent attempting to get cases expedited by doing On the Record Requests to Social Security’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review.
Since Attorney Gracia has trained Tina in all aspects of the process she acts as a Disability Advocate and Representative at client’s Social Security Disability Hearing, it keeps their experience consistent throughout the process. Since Tina’s primary focus is in Social Security Disability, acting as a Representative at hearings allows her to provide the utmost service to her clients.
Tina is a resident of Volusia County and attended several local colleges, obtaining numerous state and national certifications, including medical certifications. Tina resides in Port Orange with her husband and their three daughters.
An important part of Tina’s work involves compassionate communication with clients, assisting and guiding them through the process while ensuring they receive personalized service.
