Why Would My Long-Term Disability Claim be Limited?

Often times, insurance carriers will include certain policy provisions that will limit the amount of disability benefits an individual can receive. Such provisions are typically seen within cases of depression, anxiety, and mental and nervous disorders where disability payments may become bound by restrictions (often paying benefits for only 12-24 months). Once the specified time period is up, the individual may stop receiving benefits although these conditions still occur.
