Also called nerve pain, this is a condition where individuals experience a painful due to damaged or poorly functioning nerves.

Neuropathic pain is caused by damage to nerve fibers, either by physical damage, lack of nutrients to the nerve or infection.

Neuropathic pain typically causes sensations of burning, tingling or numbness in the affected area.

Treatment Procedures
To treat nerve pain, doctors may suggest a combination of medications, physical therapy, relaxation techniques and injections.
