Litigation Assistant 

 Samantha Jones-Baker joined the law firm of Rue & Ziffra, P.A. in January of 2008 and is currently a litigation assistant to David L. Sweat, Esquire.

As a litigation assistant, her main objective is to meet with clients and assist them with their case once their lawsuit is filed. Her daily activities include such tasks as answering interrogatories and replying to requests to produce, drafting pleadings, scheduling hearings, scheduling depositions and mediations, and preparing cases for mediation and trial.  

Ms. Jones-Baker graduated with an Associates of Science degree in legal studies and has 12 years of experience as a legal assistant in Volusia County, Florida. She loves her job and cannot see herself doing anything different.

She lives locally with her husband, teenage son, teenage daughter and three cats.
