How Do I File a Claim Against USPS and How Much Can I Receive for My Damages?

Any suit will first have to be filed in an administrative claim against USPS. Then after 6 months, a suit will need to be filed in the Federal District Court for the location where the accident took place if your case has not been resolved yet.

The amount of your claim will be based on the following factors: pain and suffering, disability, past and future medical expenses related to the accident, past lost wages and future lost wages, in addition to the property damage.
